Sam hosts Time Magazine senior correspondent Charlotte Alter (@CharlotteAlter) to discuss her new book The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For: How a New Generation of Leaders Will Transform America on how millennial political leadership will change the country in the not-so-distant future.

On today’s show: Brian Kilmeade asks Dr. Oz if economic impact “outstrips” public health benefit, Dr. Oz says no.

Time Magazine senior correspondent Charlotte Alter (@CharlotteAlter) joins Sam to discuss her book, The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For: How a New Generation of Leaders Will Transform America. The millennial generation has been steadily entering politics, with 26 millennials now representing their districts in Congress. To study what impact that might have on US electoral politics, Alter examined the factors that shaped this generation’s worldview, as well as the experiences of millennial politicians from Dan Crenshaw to AOC.

On the fun half: Devastatingly effective Trump 2020 ad features Pelosi’s ice cream fridge. Scott Walker says we can reopen the manufacturing industry, but keep workers from lunch breaks and breakrooms. Georgia governor Brian Kemp lays out plan to re-open GA’s business on Friday, claims it’s not a political decision. Ben Shapiro says smart business owners will pay workers less because they can guarantee a job to workers, says workers would be smart to work for less because unemployment will run out. Brian Kilmeade gets upset after learning Tom Brady was stopped from working out at a park in Tampa Bay, Florida. Trump mocks media: “It was all about ventilators, ventilators, ventilators.”
